Through the Energy Yoga form of classic Hatha Yoga, I help my pupils to come into observant contact with their body and mind — for more vitality, well-being and enjoyment of life.
The poses and breathing exercises are modified to fit each pupil and are suitable for all age groups. It is a form of yoga that helps to reduce stress in your daily life.
I chose the name VIRAYOGA for my yoga school inspired by the warrior pose (Sanskrit: Virabhadrasana), which represents openness, clarity and drive. This pose helps you to experience stability and self-awareness in combination with expansiveness and an open heart.
The bent front leg in this pose symbolizes humility. The idea is to develop oneself on the basis of what is available now — without comparing yourself to others.
